V-Flyer

Had 2x PE vouchers to use (expiry 2nd August0 & 100k miles to spend.
I am not a beach person, so decided to go to SF as I have not been in 15 years!
Luckily Rewards outbound has been available for most of the last week.
So grabbed the inbound rewards that became available today.
£970 poorer & 80,000 miles spend.

I get the fun now of planning, SF, Napa, Lake Tahoe & Yosemite.
Deciding between a Campervan & hotels!

no patience, wanted to go as late as possible.
PE upgrades dictated that
2 flights a day out of LHR - only available on the later fight which suits me as it means I can travel to LHR on the day.
Coming back, I nabbed the earlier flight & that gets back to LHR at lunchtime.

I prefer the later flights to the west coast - no big rush in the morning and you arrive just in time for dinner, some drinks and bed.

The early flights mean getting up too early and struggling to stay awake when you land just after lunch.
