V-Flyer

Looking to the point of obsession at direct reward flights to Cancun next summer and with just one flight a week i feel its going to be tricky so was wondering i can see flights with stop overs of a few hours. what i'm wondering is would virgin allow a reward flight where i request a couple of days stop over in say New York? I know i can call up (and call again and get a different answer) so i just wondered if anyone had any experience knowledge of this?

It doesn't give me the option to do this via a multi stop search?

It may be possible to redeem some miles for a JFK-CUN hop on DL, I don't see why VS wouldn't do it. Would probably have to call up to do it as I can't seem to get the website to price this up.

I've had a look on delta and there seem plenty of availability between JFK-CUN so as you say probably best to give them a call
