Aircraft change - Xmas day

Hi all.

Just looked at my VS9 flight on Virgin app and aircraft has changed from a A340 to B787. Seats are not what was originally allocated. Can I do anything about this? I’m guessing not to appreciate any help

If you don’t like your new allocation you can always change it via Manage My Booking.

If nothing suitable is available now make sure you do OLCI as soon as it opens in case more seats open up then. Or as a last resort you can try asking at the airport.

Thanks - Will take a look on Sunday when OLCI opens. I found it a little odd that we have moved to a 787 given the issues in the fleet

If there are any spare seats in Upper Class, you will be able to move at anytime by logging into your booking, though I suspect going from a larger A340 J cabin with 45 Upper Class seats to the smaller 787 J cabin with only 31 Upper Class seats, there may well not be any empty seats at this late stage.
