Wave from the Clubhouse! Enjoyed my light lunch very much on this cold and wet day. Have four more hours to go so the choices will get more exotic as time passes, but my mug of soup hit the spot. About 25% full here so lots of attentive staff looking after us.
Flight to HKG this evening and our first trip there. Was hovering over the £50 two bottles of Laurent Perrier in duty free thinking similar will be uber expensive in HKG. But as I dodged out of ' dry January' maybe 'no champagne February' should be observed?

No champagne February!!!!??!!

Why do that to yourself?
4 hours left, plenty of time for you to stumble back to duty free to fill the carry on with booze, don't forget some choccies for the crew too.. it's a long flight.
Have a great time in the CH and I definitely recommend that you try the fish and chip tapas item and the chicken goyoza. Washed down with a Dead Reckoning cocktail from the bar and you'll be singing in no time

Enjoy the rest of your time in the CH. You made me feel quite hungry ... Have a great flight and a super time in HK - with or without your champagne!

Always best to pace yourself.
And I hold no truck with any of this ‘dry’ nonsense

Fish n' chips and chicken gyoza ordered! Staff now outnumber passengers. Have talked myself into leaving clubhouse a bit earlier for the Laurent Perrier acquisition. You guys on the Forum are such a bad influence!

The only dry month in Cornwall is the month with no rain. That never happens. Safe journey home.

Cheese toastie with a mug of tomato soup
Now that you've sown that seed in my head - that's my lunch choice sorted for tomorrow, although I may not stretch to bubbles.
Enjoy HKG and would love to hear your thoughts, we're headed there in Sept.

Well I'm sure you're ensconced somewhere lovely in HKG now, so I hope you have a good time. But OMG I nearly choked on my coffee when I read that you were considering a champagne free February!! Dry January is bad enough. And that LP offer is excellent, I indulged in December on my way to Vienna so we'd have something nice to drink when meeting our friends. And I'm grateful I did, my hotel was charging €85 / £75 per bottle for LP!!
Have a great holiday, looking forward to the TR.
