Assuming it doesn’t change by 28/2, the current ex-UK PE menu is butternut squash & walnut salad followed by a choice of cottage pie, chicken tikka masala or veggie tortellini followed by chocolate cake.

Just wondering if someone can help regarding this? I've got a bowel condition which means that I can't digest nuts - not an allergy per se. However when I've got on my flights booking there's no option for nut allergy sufferers or similar.

Is the starter the only option or is there normally a choice of 2?

We're flying PE in April and I don't want to be left hungry

For PE there is only one starter, but the whole meal (all three courses) are served at the same time on one tray. That being said the starters are usually just a standard salad, and the only thing that changes is the topping.

The meal served is also dependant on which route you are on, so the one at the top of this post may not apply.

If I'm honest, the starters are fairly simple and don't form a substantial part of the meal. Skipping it won't leave you hungry. :-)

As an example, here's my PE main LHR-DXB from December, the starter is the salad in the bottom right:
