Hi all,

Love reading the forum!

We are booked on VS127 in August 18 and my e-ticket states 747-400 but everywhere i look and current flights are A330? We have booked seats with extra legroom and just wondering 'Do they actually know the model of aircraft this far in advance' or is it likely to be the A330 that are running daily at present?

Basically, will they bump our seats if/when the model of aircraft changes??

Hi Gazza, welcome aboard!

The VS127 and VS109 are slated to rotate between 747s and A330s each day (i.e. 747 to Atlanta, and A330 to NY, and then vice-versa the next day).

If there is an aircraft change they will do their best to accommodate. If you've paid for Extra legroom seats and don't get them, they'll be refunded. :)

I thought that it was scheduled to change to all 747s in August

My game play on these things is to try and fit in with the local time as soon as I can.
So stay awake on the flight, so that you are ready for bed when the plane arrives late in New York.
