Wow, what a shocking seat this is compared to the rest of the fleet

Just off the VS10 from JFK (which had a very very mediocre ‘meh’ service), but this was my first time in Premium on the B789’s and it wasn’t good at all.

I can only comment on the bulk-head row I was sat in (21K) but there’s no lumber control, no head rest ‘ears’ anymore and the seat cushions are much thinner and very uncomfortable. More VS cost cutting

I wouldn’t recommend it. The A333 Premium seat I flew out on is on a whole other level and what you would expect from a VS Premium Economy seat.

I will now be avoiding Premium Economy in the B789’s

I’ll post my 2 TR’s but this was a case of VS inconsistency yet again with a great flight going out and just a ‘meh’ flight coming back

I actually find the 787-9 PE seats very comfortable. The headrest ears are a pain though I agree but the neck pillow makes up for it for me personally.
