Just logged onto manage my booking and scrolled right down to the bottom of the seat map and noticed unusual seats showing behind the rear toilet block. 97A&C and 98A,C,D,E,F,G,H & K. (NB: The seats are showing as unavailable as I'm in the pointy bit up front).

I know these seats do not exist so it is an IT glitch, or have the crew-rest seats somehow been loaded onto the seat map. If you look at the normal seat map on the "Our Fleet" page of the VS website these seats are not showing.

And just to add - this is not an April Fool... I took a screen-shot to prove it. My JPEG editing skills are not up to spoofing the extra seats.

I think that the seat maps have been updated. I logged into manage my booking yesterday & can now see all the K seats on the A330-200 seat map.
Last year my seat map for an A330 showed what you are seeing Kraken.
You can now select the K seats online for the A330-200.

All the VS seat maps in bookings show these 'extra' phantom seats at the back. You even see them in VS A/C seat maps within Delta bookings as well.

I suspect it's something used internally at VS, maybe related to staff travel or standby's possibly?

Jump seats? Row 97 = flight deck, 98 = cabin?

Obviously they’re not available to normal passengers but they can be used by off-duty crew if necessary.
