Hi folks

Looking for some advice if you guys wouldn’t mind please?

Currently planning a trip to Orlando for May/June 2019. Flying GLA-MCO. 2 Adults 1 child

I currently have around 25000 miles and my wife has around 16000.

The main focus for us is price, so trying to get the best use of miles for flight price. Looking at the dummy bookings I have run for May/June 2018 reward seat availability looks high (could currently book any fri/sat from April-July) and I understand that this may not be replicated next year.

I think my options are
1) Book 3 economy fares and use all miles on a miles + money booking to reduce the cost by £300
2) Book 1 reward seat for 25000 miles, buy 9000 miles and get a second reward seat and pay normal child fare.
3) Book 1 reward seat for 25000 miles, pay normal adult fare and use 12400 miles for companion flight (can this be a child?)

Not sure if these options are possible or if you would suggest anything else?

All help appreciated as I called FC today and as so far out they weren’t overly helpful, wouldn’t run even a rough guide example on June 2018 dates.

Many Thanks
