I know some people like to stay at the MO in Las Vegas, however, from August 2018 Hilton will rebrand the property as a Waldorf Astoria hotel. More details here.

James

Thanks for the heads-up on the rebranding.

I'd just received an email from the MO offering 15% discount and it was, already tempting to include a couple of nights in Las Vegas on a trip to Santa Fe and Los Alamos, following on from San Diego ComicCon.

The MO Las Vegas is one of my favourite hotels, so we'll definitely stay one last time with the benefit of bypassing check-in completely and being taken straight to our room.

I hope the Hilton has the sense to retain the staff; they really are excellent. I suspect that the 4S might be poaching one or two, though.

MOLAS booked for two two night stays in July and August, interspersed with nights at the renovated Inn at Death Valley, the Red Garter Inn (Historic Brothel and Saloon) in Williams for the southern rim of the Grand Canyon, a Hualapai cabin for the West rim and Skywalk, and then onwards to the Meteor Crater (35.027573, -111.022983), petrified forests and Santa Fe (we have a craving to revisit Mark Miller's iconic Coyote Cafe).
