Hi fellow v-flyers,

Looking at making some late October/ early November bookings ….. so I was wondering does anyone know if the info on the VS website (see below) is the latest "we know", as in has anyone either heard differently or been contacted and rebooked in a way that suggests differently?

Thanks in anticipation of any info!

Cheers,
Tim

We’re currently due to be on an A330-200 on our flight from MIA-LHR in November so looks like they’re using them on some LHR however can’t find anymore information about that.

Thanks for the helpful responses.

I was guessing that pretty much anything could happen closer to the time (weather related, ATC or technical problems causing aircraft switches or even changes/delays to the addition of the Premium cabins or other modifications on the A330-200s themselves) but it's interesting to hear about their predicted use on different routes and on those 'expected' routes but outside the 'expected' times already.

I do appreciate the effort VS are making to maintain schedules by adding these extra aircraft but being quite tall but a trifle (or 12) over the ideal BMI I was thinking the narrower seats in UC on the A330-200 mentioned in other threads would cause a first world problem for me getting in/out!

I guess the only relative 'certainties' are the LGW 747 routes to LAS, HAV & MBJ for example!

Thanks again for the helpful feedback, 5 months to cut my BMI then.

I wish MBJ was a certainty on the 747! I am looking at booking for May 2019 and its showing as a 332 and zero reward flights in any cabin!

Just to say, my flight to MBJ in May 2019 has now been switched back to a 747 - I'm so happy! Fingers crossed it stays this way..
