Next Feb we were booked on an 11 am flight to Atlanta.
We have now been moved to 9.25 a.m. GRRRRR!
I have already booked a taxi from Premier Inn by T4 for 6.30 a.m. but now wondering what time does the DTCI open?
We were hoping to spend a couple of hours in the CH as we have not flown from Heathrow before.

5.30 I think. But the CH doesn’t open until 6.30.

Thanks for that. If I bring the taxi forward to 6 am, get to the DCTI 6.15 and then bang on the CH door at 6.29
we should still get a couple of hours there.

Yes, I'm often there at that time.
I get to DTCI at around 6:15 and tend to be the only one going through the private security. There are usually around 5 or 10 people waiting at the clubhouse door when they open it which is bang on 6:30.
You'll still get your two hours and will have no problem getting spa treatments then either.

That's just happened to me as well for my Christmas flight!! Nightmare! What time does the Upperclass wing open - is it 5.30 for car check in or 6.00am? Thanks

The return flight schedule for the VS104 has also been brought forward by 1 hour too. This now mean I have a 16 minute connection at ATL!!!
Edit - Just spoken to Netflights (who I booked this with) and they have re-routed my return flight via JFK now instead of ATL so I now get the Clubhouse as well now

Got the same message the other day. Delta legs of our trip have also been moved, but only by a few minutes. Glad I opted for a hotel at LHR the evening before.

Sorry, one more question.
reading the Virgin Atlantic site it advises booking in on line prior to going to DTCI.
However, the last few years we have not been able to and Mrs D keeps getting the dreaded SSS on her pass when we eventually do book in.
We are staying at T4 Premier Inn the night before. If we cant book in on line, should we take the tube over to T3 just to book in? We have done that in the past at Gatwick, but that was just a short walk.

Checking in online will only save you a minute or two off checking in at the desk through Drive Through Check in. Just means they wont have pre-printed your BP
