Amex MR to Flying Club miles

Hi guys!

I just read that US Amex card holders can currently transfer their membership rewards points to Virgin Flying Club and they get an extra 30% miles bonus.

This seems to be specific to US Amex card holders.

I’m fairly new to this, and just wondering if this is a promo that’s ever run in the UK, and if so, on what kind of frequency?

I only really collect MR to convert to Flying Club miles, so a 30% bonus would be great...

You do *occasionally* see AmEx MR transfer promos but in all honesty, it's no where near as often for UK members as it is for US members unfortunately.

Head for Points suggests holding on to your MR until there is a transfer bonus, but in all the years I've had an Amex Platinum I have never had an offer.

I too don't wait for offers and just transfer as needed. Quite often AmEx UK offers are also targeted as well, so not everybody gets the same offer anyway.
