Ok looking for some opinions here. I am flying the 747 MAN TO MCO in 2 weeks I can upgrade to economy delight for 50 quid extra but it would be downstairs. We currently have 2 seats in the bubble is it worth the extra or should we stick with the bubble?

Only you can decide whether £50 is good value but I would encourage you to read Raffles excellent post on the subject https://www.headforpoints.com/2018/03/2 ... lue-money/

In short, if you are a miles or TP collector the additional earnings make it a clear win for economy delight.

Had a look at it thanks i collect delta miles as I find them more useful than flying club to redeem elsewhere. more interested in comfort and service. I hear the upper deck has better service but not sure if theirs much a difference between staying in our current upper deck 747 seats which are 77A&B or moving down to the economy delight seats over the wing on the main deck.

If comfort is your main concern, I’d definitely pay for the Delight seats as you get 3 inches more legroom. Plus priority boarding, use of Premium check-in and the additional miles and TPs alluded to above.

The ratio of passengers to crew is clearly better upstairs so you may get more attentive service but what you actually get in terms of food & drink is the same wherever you sit.
