Customary wave from the Clubhouse awaiting the 400 to DXB! The 601 to JNB has just been called and it's quite quiet so far. Haircut all done and 4,000 miles paid for the privilege. There's a Barcardi Rum bar in the loft, which is normally outside on the terrace however the rain has forced it inside.
Now sitting at the bar with a tasty rum cocktail awaiting my Tapas or Bar Snacks as they are now known!

Hope you had a good flight SJ, I was on the 400 the day before yesterday.

The clubhouse was very quiet then too, T3 on the whole not the usual madhouse. It took just over 5 mins for me to make it from the DTCI to the CH. I put it down to the lull before the bank holiday weekend.

Very toasty in Dubai at the moment, where are you staying?

Hi all, I've just made it to my Airbnb villa! My brief stay is in the city this time rather than the usual resort.
Dubai is like a hairdryer blowing in your face, I've never been so sweaty from just a 10 minute walk from the bus. Absurd!!
The VS400 was packed to the rafters, 315 on board and not a single spare seat apparently, came in on VNAP which was a one-off scheduled A346. I have a feeling my return on Monday will be quieter!
