Greetings from the Marhaba lounge DXB

Salutations from the VS section of the Marhaba lounge. I'm gladly absconded in one of the private booths. Staff lovely as they were last time, the lady greeting me recognised from my last visit 9 months prior. Impressive!

The main lounge area was absolutely heaving owing to a delayed flight so to walk past that mire was a relief.

G-VWAG taking me home today.

It really is a nice little lounge at the back there. Glad you are enjoying it. Nadia there is such a credit to Virgin Atlantic.
I'm still totally reeling from the dropping of the DXB route. i used to be such a huge VS ambassador but the last two years have just pushed me further and further away sadly. Safe trip back.

It was good to meet you for a drink or two (or maybe it was a few more than that ;-) ) yesterday eve, I hope you were not feeling too woozy this morning and were able to enjoy the lounge and the flight to the full.

The DXB lounge and ground staff is a true credit to the VS product and always make people feel welcome. Regardless of how many months have passed, they always seem to remember the repeat customers.

They shall be missed when the route is dropped in March.

Morning all,
Settled back into the UK now, the weather's a bit more tolerable here! The flight was excellent with a lovely, engaging and hard working crew. Food was top notch as well which was a relief following what Joey and I dubbed 'the cheese ball incident'!!

It was great meeting you too Joey and hope you have the same luck flying home as I did! TRs to come for this and the outbound, probably next week :)
