Premium on 747 to MCO

Hi
I notice that PE is now split on the 747 between the front of the bubble and downstairs, with the back of the bubble now Economy seating.

Last time we travelled to MCO we came back in the back seats of the downstairs PE section and the flight was plagued by what seemed like half of economy pax traipsing through to use the toilet in the PE cabin, banging the door leaving it open etc - no sleep ... aarrrrrgggh. Crew weren't interested in policing it.

So looking to book again and to get back in the bubble but notice this is half Economy now too.
Anyone with experience of travelling up here - looks like there is only the one toilet at the front of PE so the peaceful cabin may not be so peaceful? Only another 11 seats to when it was PE but still increase noise and use of toilet. Also is the cabin split in some way, even just curtain?

nothing against Economy, I'd fly it myself if I could fit in the seat - im very tall - it is just a lot extra to pay for the quietness etc only for it to become a free for all. Only the one bad experience last time so maybe ok but interested to know before I book.

Thanks

The cabin is split by a curtain. The economy passengers use the toilet at the front of the premium cabin.

There's not that many Y passengers up there to disturb.... I always head up.

The bubble on a 747 is always a nice place :)

Did a LGW-LAS-LGW on Barbarella last month.
Sat in PE up in the bubble both sectors.
So nice, quiet and great service from the cabin crew (on both legs)
Yes the Y pax use the front 2 toilets but was no issue. Only noticed a small queue at top of descent.
They have a curtain but did not close it on the LGW-LAS outbound, only over night on the inbound.
My only problem was is that it was extremely cold even with the air vents turned off. There was a noticeable draft coming through the ceiling panels.
Other than that, if you can secure seats upstairs then 100% go for it.

They have been that way for a few years now. I always go for the bubble seats if possible. Quieter than downstairs and I like the bins to store things down the side of the window seats.

Also if you do have to travel Y on a 744 route the first row of economy in the bubble gives you as much legroom as any aircraft I've been on
