Just posted on the VS facebook page:
"We are pleased to announce our partnership with easyJet and their 'Worldwide by easyJet' program. Customers across the UK and Europe will now be able to enjoy more choice when connecting onto our flights through Gatwick and we look forward to welcoming them on board very soon!"

Well.... this is interesting.
/speculation
No miles or tier points.
Minimal benefits on EasyJet
But will make connections easier and considerably enhance the Ex-Eu possibilities.
Hopefully a similar thing happens at LHR that does not include BA.

Looking at the FB comments, it doesn't look like it includes the ability to check bags through to the final destination. If you fly e.g. ABZ-LGW-MCO you'd still need to collect and re-check at LGW.

What a strange way to broadcast this announcement. Nothing on their website and very few details on their Facebook page (so far)

WTF... that's one of the few reasons this kind of partnership would be useful!

All Worldwide by Easyjet is the ability to book flights on partner airlines via Easyjet themselves. Details
here.
There will be no benefits to VS pax that I can see. I don't think you will be able to book an Easyjet connection as part of a VS booking for example.

There is missed connection protection provided for connections at LGW, it's covered by Gatwick Airport themselves.
I did a dummy booking and the fee is £38.80.
No baggage included with easy

Correct. Also be mindful of luggage weight difference for each airline.

I'm astounded at the idea that Worldwide by EasyJet doesn't include though baggage. That's one of the points of it.
There is a fee of around £30 added to fares for the Gatwick Connect service.
I think VS don't know what they're talking about this time.
PS: checked some fares ex INV to MCO and Worldwide by EasyJet was charging £1300 each way, vs £300 by Norwegian. Maybe there's some tweaking to come.
