Hi I am just trying to book a flight home from florida next augugst. I am just waiting for my miles to credit, I am getting a little worried about what I am doing. I am paying with miles and using my upgrades to pe. Do I need to have reward flights in ecomonmy and pe to book.
I can find ec flights and I can find pe flights but not on the same flight!!
I cant get round this can I?

If you mean the credit card upgrade vouchers, then to use those there only has to be availability in Premium and not in Economy.

Does this apply to the old MBNA Economy to Premium upgrade vouchers?

No that wouldn't work sorry (well not without first canceling the economy reward booking) as essentially what Flying Club are doing when they book your credit card upgrade is just book you a standard reward flight in the Premium cabin but they deduct economy milage from your FC account. You just pay the Premium cabin reward taxes/fees.
Flying Club don't touch economy when booking credit card Premium upgrade fares hence why there only needs to be Premium reward availability and not any economy reward availability.
