Hi,

Flying VS5 LHR > MIA in June 19. On seat selection it says aircraft type is a 787 but looking on flightradar etc it saying previous flights have been on an A333. I'm booked for UC and have checked the seat maps. Wondering if somebody could tell me what aircraft it will be. If its an A333 i'll change my seats as I dont want to be to close to the UC bar.

Thanks.

There’s no point looking at previous flights - by June the new summer timetable will be in effect so aircraft allocation will be totally different to what it is now.

If MMB says it’s a 789 it probably will be, with the caveat that changes can happen at any time so if choice of seat is important you need to keep checking as you won’t be told if there’s a change.

We have flown this route on both the 789 and 333. Don't think there is a great deal of difference in the cabin layout so probably a seat selection for one will be very simil;ar in the other if there is an aircraft change.

I am flying out on the VS5 LHR-MIA in May 19. I regularly check my booking to see if there are any changes and today I saw that the carrier has changed from the B787-9 to the A330-300. cabin layout seems the same apart from the bar layout which I think is better than the old A330.
