Do Au's get a free checked bag on Air France basic economy?

AU's get a free checked bag when flying basic economy in VS, but does the same applies to partners, like Delta and Air France?
Got a return from Paris tomorrow, and they want $60 for a single checked bag!

Air France aren't officially a partner yet as their purchase of Virgin Group's chunk of VS is still going through the legal wrangling, last I heard. So until then there are no AF benefits
