Been sniffing around some flights for Mexico next summer and chanced upon some VS codeshares operated by AM.

Little bit more digging revealed this new page under the codeshares section:

No sign of information yet about miles/TP earning but I imagine that will follow (what kind of codeshare partner wouldn't have some degree of earning...).

Might be because they’re stopping the Cancun flight and I believe Delta are already partners with them...

I may be wrong, but I thought Delta owned part of Aeromexico? When I've googled it's not quite clear if they do yet or whether it's an acquisition that they're hoping to make

The AM Wikipedia article states that DL "announced its intention to acquire up to 49%" of AM which I assume went ahead!

I believe the old VS Head of operations went to Aeromexico as COO and is now SEVP of Delta EMEA. wonder if he had anything to do with it.
