Economy Reward in Classic, Delight upgrade allowed?

Hi all,

I'm considering trying to price up my credit card voucher (as a lowly red) and am looking at the companion reward option which books into Economy Classic along with the usual reward. If I do this, am I then able to purchase the Delight extra legroom or am I stuck in Classic?
