I've been looking at booking flights for SFO in June and normally return on a Friday in the evening on VS42 at 20:10, however on the date I was looking (June 7th) VS42 wasn't available, only VS20 at 1800. This was much more expensive, with only U and Q fares in economy available in Economy, presumably due to the lack of VS42.
Odd, I thought, so I looked for VS42 on previous weeks and found that from April 5th VS42 doesn't appear to operate on Fridays, but continues to operate every other day of the week.
Am I missing something? And if not, why might this be the case?
