Hard to say as LAS is a popular route and the 747 only has 14 seats in upper.

A dummy booking says VS are still selling 4 seats.

Keep your fingers crossed

Aren't they switching LAS to an a330-200 some time this year?

The A332's will be used for the existing and new extra MAN>LAS flights from the end of March increasing from twice a week to 4 times a week from MAN.

Also VS are moving the LAS flight to LHR using 789's from the end of March as well, though they have already op-ed a couple of flights from LHR to LAS already this year.

Good morning,
I booked the Las Vegas flight from Heathrow for May 2019 in premium economy.
I looked on the Virgin Atlantic app every day where an upgrade price was offered.
This started at £1100 and later dropped to £800, I left it and thought I would try my luck at a £600 bid close to departure.
I believe the price reduced as premium economy filled.
One Sunday morning in November I saw upgrade availability for £367 and I booked 2 seats straight away for the outbound flight.
Recently I upgraded the return for £475.
There are more UC seats on the Dreamliner so this strategy may not be as successful for you.
I hope you have success in getting a good price.
