Something to watch out for.
Last week I was originally due to fly home back from PHX>JFK on DL and then JFK>LHR on VS.
I got a push notification the morning I was due to head back to PHX via the Delta app informing me that the incoming DL flight was delayed and as such DL where allowing me re-route back to LHR if I wanted to at no extra charge. There where multiple options, but the best for me was PHX>ATL>LHR all on DL, so I picked that option.
Almost a week after getting home, the miles and TP’s for both the return flight legs had still not posted to my VS FC account. After speaking to Flying Club this morning, it turns out that because of the DL reroute, the miles / TP’s never will never show without manual intervention even with my Flying Club number on the new booking
Flying Club have now emailed their support department to get my miles / TP’s manually added to my account.
