Just wondering has anyone used the Airpotr service that VA are promoting on there website? We are thinking of using it on our next flight and I would like your thoughts and experience good or bad.

Yes, was excellent.
They collected my luggage the night before and I collected it in Boston. This was BA btw.

Amazing the difference not hauling luggage on public transport or taxis

Sounds great. I am going to give them a try on our next trip in may.

I am suprised more on here have not used them to give their views.

I think there was a thread discussing this last year at some point and people had an issue with the collection radius or something like that.. Regardless, let us know how it goes

That was the only issue that i could see was that the don't pick up from a wide area so as we are staying overnight at the Renaissance Heathrow i will book the pick up from there.

Used them in December for our trip to Orlando from Gatwick.
There were 9 of us so getting to Gatwick from North West London on a Tuesday evening just before Christmas was not going to be easy with 9 large bags, hand luggage and 4 kids.
Booked them just before the partnered up with VS which meant we were going to have to pick bags up landside from South Terninal and take them to VS check in North Terminal.
A few days before travel, Airportr teamed up with VS so I was able to amend the booking and have the bags checked from home directly to Orlando.
The driver arrived a little early at my home (all nine of us had to be present) so he could check passports, boarding passed and match everyone to their bags.
Very friendly and professional.
We then leisurely took the train to Gatwick, stayed at the Premier Inn and collected our bags at MCO.
Returning from Orlando, I booked for the bags to be collected after our arrival from Orlando. Just a small walk upsairs from arriving at Gatwicks North Terminal and the agent was waiting to take the bags back home for us.
They arrived as promised about 18.00 that evening.
All in all a fantastic professional service. Had a referral and 1st time discount of 20%.
Will use again for sure.
