Love seats on A330-200

We are in UC on one of the very last flights to Dubai in a couple of weeks. Just happened to log on this morning to see our seats had changed. Plane has changed to a seat configuration I completely did not recognise! a bit of googling revealed it is one of the ex-Berlin A330-200's. I've moved our individual seats to the 'love seats' in the front row. hope that is a good choice! I've flown Emirates quite a bit with work, and I love the private individual seats nearest the window, but as a couple thought it would be nice to try a Virgin flight actually sat next to each other. The plan is to eat in the clubhouse, a quick drink on board then straight to sleep as its such a short night flight.

Anyone else flown in these seats?

i would also love to hear some reviews from people who have flown the refurbed planes. We are booked into fly on one of these to Barbados in October

We have requested a skycot as will be taking our then 9 month old with us. I cant see the location of the skycot seats on any of the seating plans, but am assuming its the two love seats in the front row?

Just posted up my review, I think you've made a good choice - move away from the aisles at all costs!
