Anyone have any experience of the lounges when flying UC from Glasgow or Mco?

I cannot advise about GLA as I have never flown on VS from there.

At MCO, Upper Class passengers are provided with an invitation to visit the Delta Sky Club, situated after security and the monorail at the hub of Terminal B.

It can be very busy in there (especially on a Thursday or Friday evening when a large Conference ends) and when we were last there in February, it was ungoing some renovations which reduced the size further.

There is not much food on offer in there and you are not allowed to bring food in with you. Mrs Buns and I tend to grab a bite to eat in the Outback downstairs before having a libation or two in the Delta Sky Club.

Sometimes (if there are sufficient VS Groundstaff on hand) you may be collected from the Lounge by a member of VS Groundstaff and escorted to the aircraft.

I agree with Buns, if you want a meal go to the Outback.
I find their drinks policy a bit weird. I have previously paid for a glass of Prosecco but on my last trip looking at the menu found there was a complimentary sparkling wine, which was quite pleasant. You cant pay cash if you do chose to buy a drink but they expect a tip at the bar. Either that or people are very careless leaving dollar bills laying about.

Virgin use the Upperdeck lounge at Glasgow

A clubhouse it ain't but more on the lines of your standard "servisair" type lounge. There's been a small refurb since the last time I was there, mostly taking away the kids play area. Good views of the gate / runway and a reasonably pleasant place to spend an hour or two.

Usually nibble type food and free bar although I see that's now limited to 4 alcohol drinks per person ( not sure why that rules been brought in :-D :-D :-D )

Its right at the end of the building and you have to walk past the Wetherspoons to find it.

Buns and Dicky have covered the Orlando lounge.

Enjoy your flights, I love the convenience of flying from Glasgow to Orlando
