Boston

When I look to do a dummy LHR-BOS booking on the Virgin website I repeatedly get the following comment:

"Aah, sorry. You can't use your miles for this route. If it's highlighted it means it isn't eligible for now."

As I have not made a VA booking for years I am out of the loop regarding changes. Why am I getting this comment as clearly this route is still available? Hoping it is a software glitch.

I've just done a dummy booking for 1 and 2 passengers using miles in UC (assuming that from your other post about combining miles) for dates in October and got shown flights and costs (190k miles and £1,331 cash or £1131 if you took a DL flight). I got as far as it wanting me to log into my FC account.

So maybe it's your browser? I use fire fox

What are your dates and I'll give it another go.

Working fine for me in Chrome!

If you've been away for a while, you may want to check out https://rewardflightfinder.com - the easiest way to now search for VS reward avails.

Thanks. I am using Firefox but get the same with Safari. NYC and Washington flights are no issue but Boston appears "blocked out". Bizarre. We are not planning on going until Sept/Oct 2020 but was just assessing current availability levels. I'll try Chrome and the rewardfinder.

Nice to see some of you are still on here :) I even remembered my password after my time away.

what current dates are you looking at? Because of course Sept / October 2020 won't be released until October / November this year.

Rewardsfinder is great...assume it is accurate & up to date?
