Accidental refund?

Hoping somebody can help.
I have just flown from LHR > MIA and originally purchased return Economy classic seats direct from virgin website about 10 months ago.
I then decided about 5 months ago to treat the missus and go upper class (first time and loved it) on the outbound. We were told by the pilot we had made an hour up in the air so our flight time was shorter than expected which was both great and also disappointing as i loved my UC seat haha. When we touched down it was thundering and the pilot announced that we were the last plane allowed to touchdown and that we would be waiting for the storm to pass so that the plane in our designated space could take off and we could then taxi.
all in all we were delayed by about an hour so lost the hour we made up and therefore technically arrived at the expected time.
the flight home from MIA > LHR was in Economy classic and there were no delays.
I got an email a few days after with a refund of £69 for both myself and my wife, which was paid into my bank account the next day.
I'm deffo not complaining but I cant figure out why I got it, any explanation greatly appreciated
