Wave from Gatwick Clubhouse
Posted: 26 Sep 2019, 09:32A morning wave from the Clubhouse at Gatwick where the Virgin Falcon has just taxiied past the window. Makes a change from the normal aircraft at Heathrow.
The Hi Fly A380 is also here which I guess has been used for Thomas Cook repatriation flights. A number of Thomas Cook aircraft are parked up, very sad and my heart goes out to all those booked with them.
Relatively quiet right now tucked up by the window, apart from someone who sounds like there trying out every single ring tone on their phone to find one they like.
Very friendly staff and a very nice sausage roll for breakfast, was even asked how many I wanted!
Longish walk over to 111 for the VS29 to BGI this morning, although may wait a bit longer as flights seem to be delayed a bit due to baggage problems this morning, check in was filing up with bags when I arrived.
