My son is obsessed, wants to fly on a 747 before they all go. Ideally in the bubble.
Are we too late?
Failing that what's the newest plane VS have on this route now?
Thanks

The 747 still flies MAN-JFK but not from LHR.
From LHR the brand new A350 has just started service to JFK - that’s as new as you can get!

That's what I suspected. I just booked.
We're on the A350-1000 for the outbound. Not as exciting as the 747 bubble, but he'll be stoked about it.
Thanks for confirming.

Thanks, good to know.
We have relatives in the Lakes, might try to make a trip from NYC next Easter and see them, via MAN, and book seats up top
Best

Just be sure to double check which aircraft is operating on the day you want to travel. We’re going from MAN to JFK on a Wednesday in November and it’s operated by an A332. Coming back on the following Tuesday it’s B747.
