We are on a 3 week holiday around Oz. We are using Virgin Australia to get to Uluru, paying with my FC miles

Anyone have experience with getting into the Virgin Australia with as Gold Card holder without your card? I was looking on the VS website and noticed it said you needed a physical card. Normally I keep mine with my passport but I happened to take it out and left it at home. I have the app which shows my status. Just wondering how strict they will be without my physical piece of (environmentally) unfriendly plastic

I have used the VA lounges quite a bit over the years with my VS Au card. Never not had it with me granted, but as long as you can show status on your phone I don't see a problem.

Come to think of it, last time I used the lounges in ADL and SYD my VS Au number and status was recorded in the booking so I was just scanned in without needing to show my physical card.

You'll find the Vegemite next to the toasters if you're flying in the mornings. Enjoy
