Have had the email for my flight on Saturday - but the pre-ordering website is down! Can't even see the menu, let alone pre-order. Nice one Virgin!

They will "still have a nice selection onboard" - yes, I had better get my choice too.

Im also flying on Saturday, Ordered my meal last night, Got an error message at first then tried again about 15 mins later and it worked fine

Did not manage to sort out the meal pre-order - the website is not playing game (& I've tried different browsers).

As to a good flight - it's off to a bad start already as G-VBIG is operating the inbound VS76 tonight, so that aircraft will more than likely form tomorrows VS75. Fingers crossed for a last minute aircraft swap in Orlando later on.

Don't lose heart just yet. Note that there's an ATL and 2 MCO bound 744s due out of MAN tomorrow and all those inbounds in theory arrive in time to serve any of those flights.

Meal ordering refused to cooperate for me out of MAN on the 85 a month or so ago. Still got my choice onboard though. Begin gold definitely helps with that.

My preorder worked, Checked in earlier and have the note of special meal requested on the boarding card

Firstly, it is the decrepit G-VBIG (as predicted) - it's quite easy to work out the aircraft rotations at about 24hrs out.

Sorry to hear about the aircraft, but hopefully the onboard service is making up for the deficiencies
We have already made up our minds on meal choices, so fingers crossed the pre order system is back up and running.

Have has the pre-order email for my return flight on Friday - and the pre-order website is down. I get a "Sorry about that - it looks like we're having some tech issues with our meal ordering system" landing-page. This is the exact same error as I got for the outbound flight.

Contacted Virgin via Twitter & they replied really fast suggesting that my browser is the problem. Nice try Virgin - it does not work in Safari, Firefox or Google Chrome - the latter being the one they said it should work in.

Here's another idea. If you're using a VPN or can get one, see if changing your IP can solve it. I've had issues with some IPs being blocked by websites or their anti DDoS services.

I know pre-ordering appears to be down, my flight is on Saturday, can someone please send me the link where you can attempt to pre-order?

I just got the email for my return on VS28 on Saturday. Worked fine on Safari on iPad on condo’s WiFi.
