Best seats for couple on A350?

We have bagged some UC reward seats for next September from LHR to LAX as we are doing a special holiday in Hawaii. We are on the A350, but which are the best seats for a couple? We have 4K and 5K at the moment, are they OK for taking to each other? Or across the aisle, or the two centre seats?

I have tried to look at the VS video linked from the seat map but it is coming up as private...

Grateful for any advice!

Personally, i'd go for an A/D combo towards the rear of the cabin. Ultimately, talking is going to be a bit harder as it's across the aisle and the seats are angled. D/G combo means talking is going to be easier as you're both in the middle, but again the seats are angled away from each other and one of you gets the A aisle while the other gets the G aisle. Not that it matters too much.

If you want a quick exit, remember that disembarking will almost certainly be Door 2L (rear of the Upper Class cabin), so the further back you are, the quicker you should be off.

Enjoy!

We had 11D/11G back in October. The seats were great and were able to see and talk to each other quite comfortably.

Personally I don't think the A/D or G/K combo's will work as well as the seats are slightly staggered.

Enjoy your trip!

Thanks for the replies; we have decided to go for 5D/G. We are just staying at an LAX airport hotel overnight so not in a hurry to disembark so "near the door" isn't a consideration.

Now to sort out the Honolulu hotel!

Sorry to hijack... I have the same dilemma - just booked flights for 2020 to Joberg with the new A350 each way.

Seeing as both are night flights, talking throughout isn’t essential (but would be nice a bit)!

Have read row 1 has wider seats and more legroom due to the bulkhead so would like at least one of us to go for it, question is, do I do D/G and hope we can lean to talk, or go for A and take the window?

Any other comments or feedback would be amazing!
