Can you tell me how long it takes to get from the V Room to the new departure wing for/If applies V75 as I have not used this Airport since April last year. Also any other changes that may have happened since then. :) Also will be bussed over from the Crown Plaza is that to the door now or lower down by the round about. Thanks. What are the inflight premium economy meals at the moment. Going June.

That's going to be very difficult to answer unfortunately as it's around that time when the brand new section of T2 opens. That includes new drop-off ramp, check-in desks, security and new departures including new lounges.

As things stand now though all buses are dropping pax off on the arrivals (ground floor) level of T2 so you have to head up the escalator to the current check-in area. There is no traffic or drop-offs allowed on the upper departures level any more.

The distance from the current V:Room to the new pier where the new departures gates are is an approx. 15 minute walk. That's if the flight doesn't depart from the existing gates, in which case it's just a few minutes walk.

I am 95% sure that the new bits are t scheduled to open until July so unless there are some form of staged openings of other elements (eg drop off) the position is going to be as set out in Mitchja’s not above.

Thanks guys my family always leave the planning to me, so have to be on the ball. I hope we can get a peep at some of the new stuff due to open in July. I know some of you have tasted the new 350 but still love the old girls 747, but I must admit I really would like to try out the new aircraft soon. How long will it be now do you think that Manchester will get a replacement 350 for the next 747.
