Head for Points is reporting that all of Virgins 787s are now operating after multiple engine changes of the RR engines.

All the 787s being back in service has enabled the 747s to be withdrawn sooner than planned and the A332s will be returned to their lessor in early 2022 when the original 5 year lease ends.

The A330-200's were on 4 year leases if I'm not mistaken. Their leases being up in 2022 ties in with when A330neo's are due to be delivered, though I don't know what deferrals VS have negotiated with Airbus.

133 engine changes over 5 years on a fleet of 17 aircraft is insane, but it's good to see they've finally completed the fixes. I noted the line about them being able to speed up engine changes on 787's given they've done so many. That should help them reduce the amount of time a 787 is on the ground for routine engine swaps in the future which should mean better availability and utilisation.
