Posted: 08 Jun 2020, 17:45This is probably a “how long us a piece of string” question, but if VS start passenger flying again when do you think the clubhouses might reopen?

Posted: 09 Jun 2020, 11:14In addition to the above, LHR needs to reopen T3 as well. LGW Clubhouse is closed for good as VS are no longer operating from there.
The MAN Clubhouse should - in theory - open when MAN opens T2X (the T2 extension). The opening date was to be 1st July, but this is on hold as MAN is down to operating from T1 only at present.

Good point. If demand recovers as slowly as the airlines are predicting, that could be many months away - particularly if, as rumoured, BA doesn’t return and AA moves into T5.
In which case VS could be operating out of T2 for quite a while. Which would presumably mean using either the Plaza Premium lounge in T5A (decent enough but quite small) or doing a deal with SG or AC to share their lounge in T5B.
