Good to see that MAN-DEL is moving forward. The addition of BOM is a pleasant surprise too and will replace the short-loved Jet Airways route that existed for a few months until their demise. Both routes go on sale 20th October.

BOM is reportedly launching 19th December 2020 thrice weekly, DEL 5th January 2021 twice weekly.

Pretty crazy to see this launch in the current climate. Long overdue, let’s hope they go from strength to strength as the world gets over the current circumstances.

I suppose VS has had to become less reliant on TATL routes: the success of this might open up further eastbound opportunities at MAN to places like Johannesburg, Tel Aviv, Cape Town, Bangkok and Lahore. In turn, this should assist the recovery of westbound traffic to places like New York, Atlanta, LA, Barbados, Orlando and perhaps in time Boston, San Francisco and Las Vegas again... that would be a decent hub if VS can chart a path through this pandemic...
