That's true, although this is a sale and leaseback. The aircraft will still be in the VS fleet, they'll just be owned by a leasing company. easyJet did a similar thing earlier in the year, I think it's quite a useful way to generate some cash.

easyJet have also done something similar. Seems to be a tactic with some airlines to raise cash, especially during this pandemic where cash coming in is below typical levels.

I would be a bit concerned if there's a point in the future where cash needs to be raised again, but hopefully it won't come to that.
