V-Flyer

I have a flight booked (MAN-MCO-MAN) for two people where I did a miles redemption for Premium Economy seats, and then used two VS credit card vouchers to upgrade them to Upper.

If these flights subsequently get cancelled due to USA border restrictions and I want to rebook, will there need to be reward availability on my chosen replacement flights, or will I be rebooked in Upper regardless of rewards availability?

Does anyone know when reward flights tend to crop up? I was booked in May to BGI, but moving to end of November....

How long is a piece of string?

Flights tend to release 330 days in advance for general sale. Sometimes reward quota is on there straight away, sometimes not. The current situation means normal “peak” times which would see less reward flights just isn’t there at the moment so it’s all a state of flux!
