Do we need to get the U.K. code again or can we just do the renewal on the US website ?

Family of 5 all with GE due to expire autumn 2023
Mine went through the renewal process renewed for 5 years - no interview within days
Son - now 19 went through the renewal process his application is pending maybe because of his age?
Wife and two daughters have all had their GE extended by 12 months automatically
No logic
