Upper Class Wing Extended Access Eligibility

VS have updated the list of eligible customers who can use the LHR Upper Class wing which now officially include AU cardholders and more ;

Who can access the Upper Class Wing?

Passengers travelling in the following cabins

Upper Class on Virgin Atlantic + a guest travelling with Virgin Atlantic or Delta
Delta One on Delta

Passengers with the following loyalty status

Flying Club Gold card members + a guest travelling with Virgin Atlantic or Delta
Delta Sky Miles Diamond and Platinum Medallions + a guest travelling on Virgin Atlantic or Delta
Flying Club Blue Platinum Members + a guest travelling on Virgin Atlantic or Delta
All other Sky Team Elite Plus members + a guest travelling on Virgin Atlantic or Delta
Virgin Australia Velocity Club Gold, Platinum and The Club card holders travelling on Virgin Atlantic

Well that’s good news. Always thought it was a bit odd that Golds couldn’t use the drop off part of the wing but could come through the other door!

It makes you wonder if Heathrow Airport Ltd (HAL) are putting the screws on Virgin to ensure they put the promised footfall through the Upper Class Wing.

During the pandemic any airport operator had to ignore contractural agreements, but now we are back to normal & the airports want to make up for the huge pandemic losses, contracts can be fine-read & implemented.
