I'm taking a trip next march to do LHR-LAX and then drive to vegas and return LAS-LHR.

We've booked our seats and going out is the Airbus A350-1000 so a nicer plane but coming home it's showing the 787 plane. Is there any chances this route may change to a new plane by time 2024 rolls around?

Also I am a little gutted its not the Neo plane as the UC seat on that plane looks 100 times better as a suite and a door which shuts properly :( need to try a neo but what routes do they mainly do?

Thanks in advance :D

I mean, anything could happen.

But I believe Vegas will remain a 789 route for some time yet. The plane suits that route well.

NEO is currently doing BOS, JFK, TPA. Maybe another? I wouldn't bank on trying to get a specific aircraft (especially the NEO) as VS do often change stuff around.

I’ll refer the OP to my topic on the matter here.

No and far from it

As for the NEO - I actively choose not to fly it unless VS change aircraft. Much prefer the 787 seats, comfort, bed, and bar all out weigh the clumsy plastic uncomfortable A350 (and I have flown both few times this year )

I must admit +1 for the OG Upper Seat on the 787/333 and the bars on both!

Tampa is the ONLY route on which (short of tech issues) you will get a 339, with MIA, BOS and JFK also getting on an less exclusive basis. I do believe there are some scheduled for ATL too!
