US Government Shutdown and GE

With the US government on the brink of shutdown I was hoping someone knew what happened last time with global entry arrivals?
Our application was held up by the shutdown last time but wondered if it had any actual effect at the airports with TSA agents?
I appreciate they’re essential so will still be working and would find it odd if they did close the GE line, but I’m looking for some sort of confirmation.
