Last week I booked an UC one way miles flight, LHR>JFK. It cost me miles + GBP628/ US$770
Was thinking about changing it by a day, and took a look, but I now see VS want US$977 for the same reward flight.
(and, yes, fewer miles in the current reward sale)

What happened to raise UC reward redemption by $200?

Just checked a flight I have been keeping an eye on at the end of January (MAN - MCO return) and the fee seems to have actually dropped from £998 to £965

Is the new flight you’re looking at indirect?

Bizarre, it's gone back down to GBP628 today!
must have been one of those VS website snafu's
(this is one way. direct LHR to JFK on VS metal)

Or... is it more expensive on a Friday/ Weekend?
