V-Flyer

I didn't realize there is a cancellation fee of 30pounds for VS flights now, even for Au's.

Had booked a flight then the miles saver arrived so I booked another, thinking it was free to cancel.
No real problem, but... those fees are news to me.

The cancellation fee has been around for decades!

Yup, 'my bad' it seems!

Got distracted by the 'Reward Seat Sale' appearing the day after I booked first time. So I booked another one at 20,000 miles less.
Should have called and made a 'change' instead - but thought it will go if I am on hold. But...

Still, 30gbp for 20,000 miles saved is worthwhile!

In my experience, the agents always say this then I never actually get charged a cancellation fee when the refund comes through. YMMV
