I just got my one week out email for a flight and noticed this:

Effective 22 June 2022 and until further notice, our flights from London Heathrow to Orlando and Miami will check in at London Heathrow Terminal 3 Zone B.

I think normally it's Zone A and B is next to it, is this much of a change in practice? It was still in T2 when I last went out of LHR so can't remember T3 very well.

I'm reasonably sure that zone B is on the right-hand side of the lift that goes up to the magic door.

The Orlando flights were checking in at the other end of T2 when we flew to Miami a few weeks ago, so they have moved that one. And so the Miami flight has a small move. Probably a good thing as the main check in area was heaving!

This was the trade notification;

Effective 22 June Check In for Orlando, Miami and Caribbean flights at Heathrow Terminal Zone B
Last updated 22nd June 2022

Effective 22 June 2022 and until further notice, our flights to Orlando, Miami and all Caribbean destinations will check in at London Heathrow Terminal 3 Zone B

As others have said this zone is just the other side of Virgin/Delta zone A checkin desks. A terminal map can be found here
