I will be buying them, but holding off until 30th October to see average reward seat price, over the routes I normally take…

I am also nervous. United had a 100% points bonus sale earlier this year and the next week put the miles prices up considerally resulting in such a fuss they rolled them back for a while.
Perhaps this is all very clever marketing. We expect the worst so when it is slightly better than expected we think - fantastic !

I thought they would do this point booster though. In anticipation of the reward seat changes. But I thought if they did, it would end just before the changes. To create a bit of panic buying… but it is actually quite generous of VS to have the sale on during the changeover, as then we can see reward seat point change before deciding to buy the points
